Paris-based Skello, which sells scheduling, time tracking and payroll software for frontline workforces, announced a €200 million investment from Bridgepoint on July 6, 2026. The deal is unusual for its size: the company's founders and management team increased their ownership stake as part of the transaction rather than being diluted (Partech Partners, 2026; Bridgepoint, 2026).
What the company does
Skello was founded in 2016 by Quitterie Mathelin-Moreaux and Emmanuelle Fauchier-Magnan. The software targets shift-based and frontline teams in hospitality, retail, healthcare, construction, industry, leisure and services, covering scheduling, time tracking, contract management and payroll. The company says roughly 600,000 people use the platform daily across 25,000 client businesses, including Starbucks and Intermarché (Partech Partners, 2026).
The round is Skello's largest to date. It follows a €40 million Series B in 2021 led by Partech, with participation from existing investors XAnge and Aglaé Ventures. Both Partech and XAnge are reinvesting in the new round alongside Bridgepoint, a European mid-market private equity firm (Partech Partners, 2026; TechFundingNews, 2026).
Why the equity structure matters
Growth-stage rounds of this size typically dilute founders in exchange for capital. Skello's did not. Reporting from TechFundingNews attributes this to the company's financial position going into the raise: Skello turned profitable in 2025 and crossed €50 million in annual recurring revenue in 2026, which gave the founders leverage to negotiate terms rather than accept the standard trade-off (TechFundingNews, 2026).
That detail is corroborated independently by EU-Startups, which also reports the company is using the raise to fund acquisitions rather than to cover a cash shortfall (EU-Startups, 2026).
What the money is for
Skello has told investors and press it plans to spend the capital on a roll-up strategy: acquiring smaller competitors in a workforce management category the company describes as fragmented and underserved. It also plans to add roughly 100 new hires across engineering, data science and international sales in 2026 (TechFundingNews, 2026).
Neither Skello nor Bridgepoint has named specific acquisition targets. Bridgepoint's own release frames the investment as backing for "European growth" without further detail on which markets are next (Bridgepoint, 2026).
Jurisdiction note
Skello is a French company, and its core market is the European Union, where payroll and scheduling compliance requirements vary by member state. HR and operations teams evaluating this software, or its eventual acquisition targets, should confirm compliance coverage for their specific country rather than assume EU-wide parity. This is not legal advice.
What to watch next
Skello has not disclosed a timeline for its first acquisition under the new roll-up strategy. The company's next scheduled milestone, per its own hiring plans, is the buildout of its engineering and international sales teams over the remainder of 2026. Whether the roll-up produces a named deal before the end of the year is the next concrete data point to watch.
